A look at daily life in Sud-Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo, which witnessed some of the worst atrocities during the war in DR Congo. As a result of the horrors that most have witnessed in Sud-Kivu, including rape, mutilation and torture, there is a certain tranquility and a sad acceptance of how difficult, painful and sadly short life usually is in Congo.
