In the mountains of Southeastern Europe, isolated Muslim communities, who converted to Islam more than 500 years ago, are finally able to practice their faith and traditions after a century of discrimination and forced conversion to Christianity. Today they face new challenges as the European Union starts to faze out subsidies for the tobacco farming from which they make a living.
